Mark Foggetti - Director
Mark is the director for Checkout. Mark is no stranger to directing high-profile talent either. Rik Morden – Supervising Editor
Directors worldwide consider Rik one of the finest editors in North America. His 28-year career in film, television and commercial production has earned him numerous awards, nominations and an outstanding reputation in the industry. His work on the film Beethoven Lives Upstairs won him an Emmy Award; and he just won his second Emmy earlier this year. His commercials have earned him Clio Awards, Cannes Festival Awards, International Monitor Awards, and Art Director Awards in Toronto and New York.
Mark Costello – Writer/Legal Mark Costello, a co-writer of the script for Checkout, is a partner in the law firm of Boylan, Brown, Code, Vigdor & Wilson, Rochester, New York. Mr. Costello is a 1979 honors graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and has practiced as a litigation attorney and entertainment attorney for the past twelve years.
Mr. Costello will be responsible for preparing all contracts for the Partnership. When he is not practicing law, Mr. Costello has been busy as a writer, having published approximately fifty humor articles.
Patricia Gullo – Executive Producer/Marketing Consultant
Tish, as she is known, has been instrumental in putting the Checkout project together. She is known in the Rochester, NY, business community and was very successful in raising money used to produce the movie. As an effective volunteer, Tish has sat on many boards and committees in the Community. Tish was on the Board of Directors of The Nazareth Schools and was President of International Organizations of Rochester from 1990 - 1995. She also sat on the Mayor’s Task Force on Crime and Violence. Prior to that she sat on the Board of Directors of the Rochester International Friendship Council. Running these businesses prepared her to be the General Chair of several of this cities major fund raisers. To her credit are: The Bolshoi Ballet, New York City Ballet, The Cleveland Quartet with Richard Stoltzman; Sarah Chang; Christopher Parkening; and more. She ran several corporate campaigns and has worked on fund raising committees for many other non-profit organizations as well as being an active member of her parish church.
Peter Hertsgaard - Associate Producer
From a theater background, Peter was one of the main writers working on Checkout. In addition to associate producing, Peter was talent coordinator. Casting and organizing the actors (a very difficult job) was one of the areas in which Peter excelled. Much of the character development and dialog is attributed to him.
Gary McClurg - Producer
Gary was our west coast pre- production coordinator. In 2001, he produced his own screenplay, Dead Oaks in Los Angeles. Gary’s most recent credits include line producing the feature The Legend of Cryin’ Ryan, the 1998 Santa Clarita Film Festival Award winner, and winner of the 1998 River Run Film Festival in North Carolina. He also line produced and edited the feature Split Second,
and was the associate producer on Forever Loved.
Joe Allessi - Assistant Director
Joe hails from New York City, where gained much experience in large scale project coordination. Joe has worked on film projects including The Fugitive, The Sopranos, and After Image. Joe's style of organization and crew coordination was crucial in making Checkout a success.
